Care Ministry

Care Ministry is designed to help more churches and their members reach more individuals and families during their most challenging times. Our care ministry offers three distinct areas of support which we can help your church implement. Get your church involved as much or as little as you want with Care Pantries, Benevolence fund management, and Care Portal responders.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me…
-Matthew 25: 35-36

Care Pantries

Let us help you begin a care pantry to provide essential support by offering groceries and clothing to those in need. Depending on your church’s resources and preferences, these pantries can operate in various ways—from providing free essentials to offering items at reduced costs, giving individuals a sense of dignity and choice. Begin one today and not only help those in your community but give your members many opportunities to volunteer bringing them greater joy and fulfillment.

Benevolence Funds

We assist churches in establishing and managing benevolence funds to support members facing financial hardships. Our proven methods will increase your church’s giving while immediately making an impact in the lives of those in need. Our care coaches offer personalized assistance, focusing on long-term solutions rather than temporary relief. We also provide budgeting classes to help individuals regain financial stability, always aiming to offer a hand up, not just a handout.

Care Portal

As a Care Portal implementing partner, we allow your church to respond to the needs of vulnerable families in your local Wake County area, particularly those involved in or on the brink of the foster care system. Our goal is to help churches provide resources that prevent families from entering the foster care system and to support those already involved. We work closely with churches to offer comprehensive training, ongoing support, and guidance to ensure meaningful and sustained impact.

There are over 500 kids in foster care in Wake County. Hundreds more are at risk of being displaced. Your church and its members can become Care Portal responders and you will see and meet real-time needs and keep families together during the hardest times.

With Care Portal technology, your church can meet a real needs and help keep families together.
